We have a wide range of Microscopic Laser Welding capabilities with our three Alpha Laser welders ranging from 100 – 200 Watts. Precision welding can be applied in beads as small as small as 0.002” wide, yet large build-ups and engineering changes are also possible. This Micro Laser welding process is widely appreciated in the Tool, Die, and Plastic Injection molding industries. More and more welding applications are being discovered daily. This welding process can be very useful because it has a very low heat-affected zone. This means that mold or part detail can be repair welded without the welding process distorting or warping surrounding areas, this is a typical problem when using other types of welding processes. Precision production welding is also a great use of laser welding. With our CNC laser welder we are constantly producing precision welding parts. Fusion welding is best used in the automated processes.
